The design should feel like the story.

A manuscript is more than a collection of words. It's months—or often years—of someone's life, distilled into pages.

I believe the design should honor that investment.

For more than a decade, I worked in print publishing, where I learned that good design isn't decoration. Typography, spacing, hierarchy, paper, trim size, and production all shape the way a story is experienced. A reader may never notice those decisions individually—but they'll feel them.

Today, I bring that same editorial eye to every project. Before I begin designing, I spend time with the manuscript itself. I want to understand not only what you're saying, but how the book should feel in a reader's hands.

As both a designer and a published author, I know what it's like to hold that first proof copy and realize something isn't quite right—or to finally hold a book that feels exactly the way you imagined it would.

My goal isn't simply to create a beautiful book.

It's to create one that tells the truth about the story inside.
